Meet Steph Tang
Steph is a GTA & Toronto-based makeup artist and hairstylist with over 12 years of film and television experience. She is a makeup permittee of IATSE 873 and NABET 700, with a core focus on storytelling through makeup. Her credits span major productions across North America and Asia, featured on Netflix, Prime Video, Crave, and CBC.
With formal training in fine arts and advertising design, her work balances thoughtful visual direction with technical precision. Steph provides luxury bridal and special event makeup and hairstyling, alongside custom ombré and powder brow services. Drawing from industry standard onset techniques, she delivers refined and long-wearing finishes for every occasion. She has travelled internationally to design high concept, theatrical performance makeup for stage casts in Dubai and Qatar.

Work nominated for best makeup in TO Webfest 2022 and selected in VIFF, SXSW, Toronto Independent Film Festival, WFF and TADFF. Past clients include Nordstrom, Disney, Aviva, Fallsview Casino and Rogers Centre.
She currently works independently and as a makeup permittee of film unions IATSE 873 and NABET 700.
BRIDAL

Each consultation is thoughtfully tailored to your features, wardrobe, lighting, and setting—ensuring a polished, elevated look that translates seamlessly on film, photography, and live events.
POWDER BROWS
Created using a tattoo machine. Soft layers of colour are deposited into the skin until the desired colour and dimensions are achieved. You can achieve a very soft and natural look or bold and well-defined shape depending on your preferences. This technique lasts the longest and is the ideal option for oily skin type and minimal/no brow hair.
